Strap on your stilettos for a very different call to the post at the 2nd Annual VOICES HIGH HEEL RACE. This fabulous frolick, sure to get those calves in shape, will kick off the annual Louisville Pride Foundation Pride Festival. People of all shoe sizes are encouraged to wear the best costumes and most creative high heels to run, walk, prance, dance, and sashay for 100 meters — laughing all the way to finish line. Runners must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Race will take place along Lucia Avenue at Bardstown Road.

Race Rules and Regulations
2 inch high heel minimum (NO FLATS)
Persons may run as an individual OR with a team.
Runners must be 18 years or older to race.
Starting line placement is based on a first arrival status.
No pushing or shoving! That’s a race foul and you can be disqualified.
Teams must have 6 people on your team. No more, no less.
Entry Fees: $20 per individual • $100 Entrance fee for a team of 6
Each runner must be fully wearing a pair of heels (i.e. on both feet!)
Each TEAM must be recognizable by their costume or shirts in order to win.
First team to cross the finish line must announce to the line judge their team name. Line judges are available at both sides of the finish line.
Prizes will be awarded to: Win, Place, Show, Winning Team, Best Costume and Most original HIGH HEELS! (as determined by a group of judges during the Parade of Heels)
